My friends and I returned from our stay at Ocean Reach 6 a couple days ago, and we had a wonderful time. The property was very clean and had just about everything we could think of! I am writing specifically, though, to thank your employee Amanda. We had been having some issues with the lockbox during our stay, but we weren’t sure if it was just that we weren’t using it properly or what, and it had not caused any troubles for us… up until Saturday night. There were problems getting back into the house and without knowing any other numbers to call for assistance, I called Amanda (she had texted me after our check-in, so I had her cell number). She was so unbelievably helpful, particularly considering the late hour. She came over to the house right away, which is something most people wouldn’t do. We were able to get back into the house, and we were also able to determine that the lockbox problem was not user error I travel to Dewey on a regular basis and will look to your agency first for future trips. The quality of the property and, most importantly, the quality of your staff make it an easy call and I will be sure to pass along your info to anyone looking for a place in the area.

Great Time at Ocean View #2

We had a fabulous weekend at Ocean View #2 for a friends birthday in July. Check in was super easy, the house was clean and ready for our arrival ahead of schedule. Can’t wait to visit again next year!


This was the second year we stayed at the Surfrider in September. This year we stayed in Unit H and it was perfect and pet friendly! It’s a very comfortable flat in the back so it’s quiet. Great ocean view and short walk to the beach. What more could you ask for. Harry was great, he’s been doing this a long time and it shows. We’ll be back!

I have never been known to write thank you letters. My general feeling is that the paycheck at the end of the week is in most cases ample compensation.
